Earnings and global stimulus move Dow to the record levels

Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced to all-time closing highs on Tuesday while S&P 500 Index continued to extend its record levels after some earnings reports and Australia’s central bank cuts refinancing rate.

The Dow Jones industrial average was up 87.31 points, or 0.58 percent, at 15,056.20. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index was up 8.46 points, or 0.52 percent, at 1,625.96. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 3.66 points, or 0.411 percent, at 3,396.63.
