First rule for saving: Money should be a tool, not a goal for you !
God has given us a certain lifetime. We spend this life given to us to realize our goals in line with our values. But mostly we forget these goals and put the money in the center of our lives; money becomes a goal rather than a tool for us. It surpasses all our goals and values. Our only goal is to make more and more money. However, it should not be a goal for us, but a tool that we should use to reach our goals.
The first thing we need to do for this is to write our dreams and goals. Then, by prioritizing them, we should classify them as short (1 year), medium (1 – 5 years) and long-term (5 years and above), and we should be determined to achieve them in order and lock on the target. We must plan our monthly budget and save a certain part of it for our goals, no matter what. And if possible, we should start saving when we are young.
