Positive signs for U.S. economy moved the markets to the new records

Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced to all-time closing highs on Tuesday while S&P 500 Index continued to extend its record levels after increasing optimism for the economy and gains in financials.

The Dow Jones industrial average was up 123.57 points, or 0.82 percent, at 15,215.25. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index was up 16.57 points, or 1.01 percent, at 1,650.34. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 23.82points, or 0.69 percent, at 3,462.61.
