Concerns for Italy Lowered European Markets

As of February 6, European stock markets fell because of the increasing worries for Italy’s political stability. Since the polls showed that Berlusconi’s votes have increased, it hurt the sentiment in Euro-area. As a result, DAX and Stoxx 50 fell by 1.09% and 1.28%, respectively, while FTSE 100 slightly rose by 0.20%.
